The 2016 Buick Enclave is a Premium Crossover
The new Enclave from Buick is a mid-size SUV crossover styled with comfort and luxury. This is the family car with front wheel or all-wheel drive that goes anywhere with a variety of cargo options. The vehicle seats eight people or it can provide ample storage with the back seats folded down.
Engine
A 388 HP six-cylinder, 3.6-liter engine gives 17/24 mpg fully loaded. The six-speed continuously variable automatic transmission and power assist steering make for easy handling. The ride is smooth and quiet with StabiliTrak control system.
Exterior
The Enclave features a waterfall grille, 19-inch 10-spoke aluminum wheels and streamlined design over the rear wheels. The exterior is unchanged from the award-winning 2015 model with its signature Xenon headlamps and LED tail lights.
The rear lift gate is power controlled from the dashboard.
Interior
The new “low and away” instrument panel, heated leather front seats, center console and and powered telescoping steering column are part of the package. Headroom in the front and second row is more than ample. You will find the third row comfortable for smaller people and kids.
Cargo space is 115 cubic feet with the second and third row folded down. There is still 23 cu.ft. of space behind the third row.
The 2016 Enclave now has OnStar 4G LTE with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. This is in addition to the Buick InteliLink for hands-free calling, USB port and audio system.
Safety features include standard airbags and child car seat LATCH system. Enclave has a rear vision camera for backing up. The lane departure warning, parking assist, forward collision warning and cross rear traffic alert are optional.
